Process termination is a method of releasing processes (programs) from system memory. Usually process termination is useful to terminate hanging processes. It can terminate process immediately (unlike if you terminate process from standard Ctrl+Alt+Del activated window).

IMPORTANT NOTE: process termination feature is for advanced users only! It can cause data or system crash. Use it on your own risk!

There are two ways to terminate a process in RunIt!. First is to select the process from "Terminate process" submenu.

This way is the fastest. Second is to select the process from "Terminate process" window. This way is very useful when you need to terminate several processes.

Hold "Shift" button while clicking a process in Terminate process submenu or window to terminate group of same processes.

Press "Suspend/Resume" button to freeze the selected process. The process in the list will be prefixed with a word "Suspended". Press the button again to resume the process execution.

You can access to "Terminate process" window from LaunchBand and by use of keyboard shortcut.
